The Kuari Pass trek falls in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand state in India. The trek is famous for its spectacular views of the Nanda Devi sanctuary. The imposing and scenic presence of the Himalayas can be witnessed from Kuari, which literally means â€œdoorwayâ€œ. One can witness several Himalayan peaks, nameley Nanda Devi (7816m), Dunagiri (7066m), Kamet (7756m), Hathi â€“ Ghodi Parvat, Abl Gamin (7355m), Mana (7272m) and Changabang (6864m) to name a few.
Day 01 : Drive Rishikesh to Joshimath (1890m). Rest and acclimatize.
Day 02 : Drive to Dhak (2120m) and Trek to Guling (2997m); 12 km drive, 5 hour trek.
Day 03 : Trek Guling to Khulara (3198m); 6 km, 4 hour.
Day 04 : Trek Khulara to Tali (3363m) via Kuari Pass (3815m); 11 km, 7 hour.
Day 05 : Trek Tali to Auli (2629m) and Drive to Joshimath; 4 hour trek, 16 km drive.
Day 06 : Drive Joshimath to Rishikesh; 255 km, 7-8 hour.
